Bouchon in Yountville is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic French cuisine. Owned by the renowned Thomas Keller, this bistro excels in delivering exquisite dishes. The escargot was delectable, with a perfect blend of garlic and butter that melted in your mouth. The croque madame was perfectly balanced, featuring crispy bread, savory ham, and a luscious béchamel sauce topped with a perfectly runny egg. The French onion soup was rich and flavorful, with a deep, hearty broth and a generous layer of melted cheese. The fresh baguette was amazing, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a perfect accompaniment to every dish. The ambiance is charming, reminiscent of a classic Parisian bistro, and the service is impeccable. An amazing dining experience all around!

06.23.2023 - Anniversary brunch (Long overdue review) It was a quick bite before picking up our macarons for our anniversary party favors at the Bouchon Bakery. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated right away at the bar top. I remember their bread and butter that they serve is out of this world! We asked for seconds. The French onion soup was also delicious! Our entrees were ok. My husband had their chicken rotisserie and I had their black mussel with frites. Neither of our main meal was super over the top. It might be because we thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers beforehand. I would come back just for their bread and French onion soup.
